RANGITOTO ISLAND

Just a short 30 minute cruise from our base in the Viaduct is Rangitoto, New Zealand’s youngest and most iconic volcano. At just 600 years old, the pristine island is pest free and is home to the worlds largest Pohutakawa forest which you can experience as you climb the summit track to enjoy spectacular 360 degree views of Auckland city and the surrounding Hauraki Gulf.  It is one of Auckland’s best activity based day trips and with its shimmering blue sheltered bays and secluded beaches it has long been a coveted boating destination.

After reaching the summit and taking in the views, return to the onboard luxury of the Savoy where we will anchor down in the best bay on the day, and serve you a gourmet lunch prepared by our private chef while you spend the afternoon enjoying water sports and the onboard facilities including our fully licensed bar, before cruising the scenic route back to the city.
